Power tranny transmission chain Chains are classified into six major organizations.
1.1 Standard Roller Chains. These chains are designed for general usage.
1.2 High Performance Chains. 
These chains have higher tensile strength and greater fatigue strength.
1.3 Lube-Totally free Chains. These chains have longer use life than standard chains without lubrication.
1.4 Environmentally Resistant Chains. Chains with unique corrosion resistance.
1.5 Specialized Chains, Type 1. For particular applications.
1.6 Specialty Chains, Type 2. For general designs.
